Ned earned over 70 qualifications in masters agility – that is his masters title 10 times over. Jumping was introduced relatively late in his trialling career, he managed his masters jumping title twice over.
Late in life, he enjoyed coming out of retirement (at over 12 years of age) to gain his novice gamblers and snooker titles.
During his competition years, he was runner up to the winner of the NSW Balder Trophy for the point score to qualify for the NSW Agility Dog of the Year 2003. We won ACT Agility state Titles and Jumping State Titles.
As a father, Ned is “the daddy of them all” including show champions and a grand champion, dogs with titles in agility, obedience, flyball, gundog work and he has one pup that went sled dog racing.
Look through all the Fenrik breeding since 1995. Ned will feature. Such a great dog to be the foundation of my breeding plan.
He frequently appeared on television events, including winning a Harry’s Practice obedience competition which included a blindfolded recall and fetching slippers over a jump and other bizarre “obedience exercises”
Proof of sound temperaments, intelligence and good health into old age.
For all this great success in competition over a wide range of dog sports, Ned was best known for his gentlemanly nature, both with people and with other dogs. He was affectionate, co-operative and enjoyed the fun of his agility trialling with all sorts of handlers from 9 year old boys, to people who had never handled in agility at all. You could not have had a better dog to teach you about agility.
