Alica, who is very active in Disc Dog Sports (Frisbee) was discussing a new puppy and we got on to the subject of names. She was wanting to call her new puppy “Hyzer” (which is a brand name of a top competition Frisbee). We discussed a few possibility and and started thinking about what might be High Az A . . . ) and of course we thought of Kite. I have had a previous “Hi” litter, and also a couple of pups with “kite” in their name. So we opted to spell it with a Y – and so the “Kyte” litter was inspired.
One thing I do remember about this litter is they were raised during a stinking hot summer and I spent a lot of time keeping these guys cool with mist sprayers and paddling pools. Also, a lot of the photos have the puppies on very brown grass when they were out on walks. (The puppy pens were nice and green from the misters and emptying the paddling pools!)
