“Two” Litters in One, “Double” the Dads. Our girl Pace is a bit of a “Tart” and after she was mated to our chosen stud dog, she managed to sneak out to find Floyd.
This means we could have two fathers of puppies in the same litter, and they all had to have DNA testing to figure out which was the father of each puppy.
It was reassuring to know that the science of DNA was backed up by our knowledge of the inheritance of colour.
